Discovery NotesSample collected from as deep as 3cm, in a clay and soil mixture. At the time, said soil mixture was clumpy and moist. Sample was specifically collected from a dirt path, in between two stretches of campus, concrete walkways. Soil likely had frequent direct contact with pedestrian foot traffic. There were also a number of small garden shrubs near by.
Naming NotesUnaware we were able to potentially name our phage, we were unprepared, and jokingly offered up "The Avion Flu".
Wasn't a great joke, but I observed that it was a better name than a great many - so, we stuck with it.
