Discovery NotesThis soil sample was taken from damp soil in a suburb neighborhood located in Woodlawn, Maryland, which is in Baltimore County.
Naming NotesThis phage is donated, however our original sample was taken from the National Harbor, which has a statue called the awakening, which tourists come from all over to see. We knew our phage would be something great to see, hence the name GreatAwakening. Even though our first sample failed, we kept the name for our donated phage.
