Discovery Notes | The soil was taken from a wooded area under leaf cover. The depth of the sample was approximately 8mm. The sample was collected far from water, concrete, or major roads. The sample was taken 23" from the base of an elm tree. The air temperature was about 76 degrees fahrenheit at the time of collection. |
