Discovery Notes | It was about 3 ft. from the base of a tree, and 6 in. from a walkway going near Seacobeck Dining Hall at the address: 1701 College Avenue
Fredericksburg, VA 22401-4661. The site is mulched and about 20 ft. away from a small stream. It gets a lot of foot traffic and is flat. The area is shaded for most hours of the day by trees surrounding it. I found it on September 2, 5.3 cm deep. The temperature outside was 26°C and humid. |
Naming Notes | I named my phage "Itis" because it was vague and interesting to me, just like the suffix, "itis." |
