Discovery NotesI got the soil from my backyard. It is the sandy region. I used a hoe to dig a hole in the ground and picked a sample from the hole.
Naming NotesOnce we saw how the phage looked through the electron microscopy, it reminded us of a squid. Katie suggested naming it the Greek form of squid: Kalamari.
