Discovery Notes | The soil was collected from a drainage pond on August 19, 2012. It was 24°C and raining when the soil was collected from a sloping bank of a drainage pond. It was dirty and had rotting vegetation nearby, increasing the likelihood that the sample would be microbial and have phages. |
