Discovery Notes | The soil that it was discovered from came from a potted plant on the third floor of the ISAT building. I first, moved some leaves out of the way and recovered the soil that was on the top. I did not get any soil from deep within the plant. The dirt was dark and had several other unknown particles in it. I would assume leaves and some sort of fertilizer product. |
Naming Notes | The name came from the college football team Alabama. There is nothing special involved in the name, I just like the team. |

Plaque Notes | Plaques were large up to the 10^-4 section. After that I was able to count individual plaques in the following sections. On the 10^-4 section I counted 18 individual plaques. In the last section 10^-8 there was nothing apparent that was able to be counted. |
