Discovery NotesFound in soil sample collected in front of the Biological Sciences building in UMBC. It was 24.5 degrees Celsius. It was sunny and clear. The soil sample was a tannish brown color and somewhat moist. It was taken from a depth of approximately 1 cm.
Naming NotesIt was the only virus that lived in the soil to be collected, so I just imagined jokingly that it fought off the other viruses in some great battle.
