Discovery Notes | The Phage was discovered from soil collected on August 22nd, 2013 at 4:40 P.M. The soil depth from which the soil was collected was about 7.2 cm. The approximate air temperature was 84º F. It was collected in a suburban area about 26 cm away from a sidewalk. The soil site had a lot of foot traffic, and the soil was fairly dry at the time it was collected. |

Plaque Notes | Generally uniformly round, between 1mm and 2mm in diameter, well isolated from other plaques, tended to be both cloudy and clear plaques present on the plate (though twice there were only cloudy plaques present) but would always choose clear plaque for stabbing (if present), were never haloed, incubated for 48 hours at room temperature (23º C) and stored in a refrigerator (4º C). |
