Discovery NotesDry soil with low foot traffic. Streak purification was used to isolate a single phage and plaque morphology began to appear homogenous beginning with the second streak plate (3 total). Plaques continued to appear homogenous throughout several rounds of phage-titer assay. The presence of a single phage was verified with TEM imaging.
