Discovery Notes | - Collected the soil sample on August 29th of 2016 around 7:55PM with temperatures at about 27.7 degrees Celsius (81 degrees Fahrenheit) - In order to uncover the phage, an enrichment culture was made; from this a spot test and three rounds of purification were conducted. Web plates could then be made and allowed for the collection of the high titer lysate to create our digests and run the electrophoresis gel. |
