Discovery NotesThe soil sample was found in a tropical climate up on a mountainous region. The temperature was around 70 degrees Fahrenheit during collection and the soil was damp. The soil was collected near plant matter and had clay-like texture with little rocks/pebbles.
Naming NotesThe name was inspired from the Nickelodeon television series "Avatar: The Last Airbender". One of the show's characters was named Kyoshi, who was known as a tough and powerful individual. For copyright purposes, we changed the name to Kioshi instead of keeping the original name.
