Discovery Notes | The soil sample was collected on September 24, 2015 at 3:59 pm and 79°F. It was collected in rural Pullman, WA in the center of Washington State University campus. The coordinates for this location are 46.728285°N, -117.164347°E. The collection site was on a very slight slope downward facing north, within two feet of a tree, and about 15 feet away from a sidewalk. The sample was collected by scraping grass off of the surface to dig about two inches deep. The soil was soft and moist. |
